Our natural-process Excelsa from Quảng Trị, Vietnam has low acidity, a full body, and notes of chicory, tobacco and cherry.
Excelsa has a much smaller commercial presence than arabica or robusta. This Quảng Trị origin lot offers another part of coffee’s family to explore, outside our four specialty series.
Natural processing dries the coffee fruit around the seed before it is removed. Origin, process and roast all help shape the cup.
This coffee is not decaf. We have not lab-tested this lot’s caffeine content and do not claim a specific reduction.
